Climate change vs capital

Money is important. When I was researching innovation on climate change impact (https://www.hippog.org/post/climate-change-vs-innovation), the financing needs in the article struck me. Will my talented friends and I be willing to focus on environment related research (typically not well-paid) instead of finding a high-pay job in finance or technology company?

Humanity concerns come after prosperity for most people. Will we think globally to pay other countries' climate bills?

My house was planning to install solar panels and Tesla batteries, which ended up the cost is 50k. In addition, the cost of converting from oil burner to propane is over 30k. Both my parents are keen to have an environmentally friendly house, however, considering the cost for economic effectiveness, they were not able to move forward at that moment. It was a very direct observation for me that money matters in climate related transformation.
