Torres del Paine is more than just a spectacle of nature - the towering granite peaks and glacial lakes appear dramatically different depending on the light and weather: golden at sunrises, fiery at sunset, and mysteriously veiled in fog. Its ever-changing views, much like the ever-changing journey of life and society, with its highs and lows, and its moments of clarity and uncertain.

While the United States, a key player in global climate policy, faces economic and political uncertainties, the environmental commitments and climate investment have shifted priorities slowing the momentum of existing efforts. This is much like the Torres del Paine's obscured beauty of a foggy day. However, technological innovation, declining solar and wind power costs, and international coalitions will lead us to a sustainable future.
