I have posted many of my direct observations on climate changes in the past. As I came across this article from NASA, I wanted to repost the main findings of global warming effects in the U.S. Some changes are happening faster than scientists assessed, leading to something that is mostly likely irreversible.

Global temperatures will continue to rise

  • U.S. sea level likely to rise 1 to 6.6 feet by 2100

  • Hurricanes will become stronger and more intense

  • More droughts and heat waves

  • Longer wildfire season

  • Changes in precipitation patterns

  • Frost-free season and growing season will lengthen

  • Arctic is very likely to become ice-free

more frequent wildfires, longer periods of drought, and extreme rainfalls - from NASA
