When you take a walk through my neighborhood, you will feel as if you are in a beautiful park. It's full of trees in a variety of colors corresponding to the different seasons. In addition, you will have a high chance of seeing peacocks roaming the streets.

Although all the neighbors are trying their best to keep the trees healthy, unavoidably, some trees have to be removed as their roots destroy sidewalks. Recently I noticed a few trees being planted to replace the previous tress. The newly planted trees are littleleaf linden, which is an urban tolerant tree. I traced the resource and hope more and more people, especially people in NYC could join in and fill their neighborhood with more trees. http://ccenassau.org/professional-horticulture-urban-forestry/urban-community-forestry
