The Allergy Season is Earlier and More Intense

My allergy nightmare started on March 14, when I had my first outdoor baseball practice as the new season kicked off. I have been suffering almost a month now with running and stuffy nose, headache and sore throat.
Although allergies have been an annual nuisance, the season came earlier and more intense. I looked online for whether or not there was any correlation with climate change. After further research, I learned that there was in fact a correlation between climate change and a lengthened allergy season. Linked here is a great post from the Washington Post: Climate change is making pollen season longer and more intense across the country - The Washington Post.
Climate change is not necessarily making summer hotter, but it makes the average temperature higher. The winter may not be extremely cold, but it will be shorter, etc. It is changing too fast for anything living on this planet to adapt. I have even seen trees, such as the ones pictured above, blooming in the winter.
